Why does it matter if my employees are affected by a data breach?

Many applications that we use in our daily lives, such as our email, are accessed through a username and password. Very often, the username is an email account and unfortunately many people reuse the same passwords. If this information falls into the hands of cybercriminals, it would allow them to access any application or system that is accessible using the same username and password.
